Whenever I get a call from this caller no one is there when I pick up the phone. Then when I call the number back I get the recording service that says "this number is no longer in service." What do we do to keep them from calling and why are these people being allowed to do something so pointless?

Got a call and left a message, wouldn't say who she was with or what it was regarding.

This number calls my home numerous times a day, 7 days a week. No one ever answers. I have tried to call the number back and the message states that the customer I am trying to reach is unavailable and I need to call back later. Calls have been made as early as 7 am and as late as 10 pm. Extremely irritating!

I purchased a gift subscription for a friend over a year ago. I did not renew the subscription. I have called and formally requested that USA Today stop harassing me over renewing on 4 separate occasions during the past month. On each occasion, I have told them it was a gift for someone else, I am not renewing the subscription nor do I want a subscription for myself. I have formally called and requested they stop calling me 4 times. If I tell the rep who calls me to stop calling, they hang up and call back a few hours later. Since I last formally called USA Today and asked them to cease and desist, they have called me 18 more times (during the past 9 days) which I am now logging. They will normally harass me twice a day. Asked to.speak.to my son who is in grade school. Kept asking if he was underage. Continued asking if he.was underage saying my son requested information.on college. As I.was trying to.understand who I was talking.to they Hung up. Some.kind.of.a.scam. would not answer when.I.called back.

Man knew my name and claimed I won a $1,000 online shopping spree, that I only need pay shipping and handling. He knew my address and wanted to know my age and occupation, said information would be coming in the mail in 3-5 days. Not sure what else he knows. I had filled out an online survey the previous day, may have had something to do with that.
